Mark Mckellar & Tyler Welch

Mark and Tyler met back in the summer of 2012 at a church camp. Tyler from Ohio, Mark from Arizona, stayed in touch through the years and linked back up in Fall of 2015 during their freshman year at Brigham Young University. Both having a love of CrossFit, started Provo CrossFit in December of 2016, then opened up another location in Springville in 2018. They have since rebranded the name to RxFIT in January of 2019. Our vision is to help build a healthier human race and cure chronic illness through nutrition guidance and daily exercise.

Miranda

Head Coach / Head of RxFIT FORTE

Miranda has been coaching for RxFIT since 2018 and has been in the community for 10 years. Coach Mig is the wife to Rob Merrell (a beloved gym member in our community) and a mom to 3 beautiful kids. She was pivotal in the success of opening up RxFIT Springville in 2018. A high caliber athlete herself – Mig holds numerous gym records for both metcons and olympic lifts. Mig has inspired and empowered all our members, especially her own community of women who follow to her 9:30 Springville class.
Hannah

Tyre

Coach / Director of Events

Coach Tyre has been with RxFIT since 2017 and a coach since 2018. She is married to Johnny (a truly beloved gym member in our community) and a mom to Luna the Lab. Tyre has successfully ran numerous gym events such as the Sick2Well2Fit Health Challenge, Festivus Competition, Utah Spartan Race, Ragnar Race at Zions, Hike to Timpanogos and many more to come! Tyre coaches all the morning classes (4) in Provo, and is a particularly big favorite among the Provo members. Coach Tyre is a hard worker and a loyal friend to all at RxFIT. We love her!

Fernanda

Coach / Head of RxFIT Sport

Coach Fernanda since been with RxFIT since the beginning of 2019, and has been in the community for the last 10 years. There’s never been another coach we’ve had that is more passionate and excited to coach, than Fernanda. She is the wife to Chris (a beloved gym member in our community) and the mom to Cristianito. Fern is very nice and extremely fun to be around but when you’re in her class – you’re in her world! Because of her amazing coaching, numerous members have been able to get fit through her personal training sessions and nutrition consulting. She is also the Head of RxFIT Sport, a competitors program here at RxFIT. Take her class, you won’t regret it!

Gus

Coach

Gus has been with RxFIT since 2017 and a coach since 2019. He is married to Lacy (a beloved gym member in our community) and a recent graduate of Finance from Utah Valley University. Gus is a favorite in our Provo afternoon classes and has been the success of personal training to numerous members. He is a very gifted athlete and one of the most dedicated softball players you’ll ever meet! We love Gus and so will you!

Coach

Allie has been with RxFIT since 2019 and started as a coach just 1 month after her initial arrival. She is currently in school to be a Physical Therapist at Rocky Mountain University. She has become a favorite of ours and many members for her style of coaching, professionalism, and personality. It’s not possible to find anything to dislike about Allie. She fun to workout with and fun to take her class! We really hope to never lose her!

Coach

Kyle is our on-ramp coach who also covers many classes in both of our Provo and Springville locations. There isn’t a day where Kyle isn’t smiling.

Coach

Hannah is our corporate wellness expert and group class coach. She is a phenomenal athlete and you will often see her competing in local fitness competitions.

Jefferson

Coach

Jeff is the gymnastics and calisthenics expert on staff. His speciality is in helping athletes get their first pull-ups, muscle-ups, and handstands. He is also in charge of all of the remote training.

Johnny

Coach

Johnny will always be the first person to give you a hi-five after completing a workout or reaching a new personal record. You will see him often inside the gym. He’s also the man behind the scenes for every RxFIT event that we host.

Matt is a firefighter up in Sandy, Utah. His speciality is in helping athletes prepare for marathons, triathlons, and spartan races. He’s also a great cook!
